There is a lot of infrastructure work taking place at the moment and we will be ready for December. We are inviting all trained street medics who can agree to work within the framework published below to join us in Copenhagen. Unfortunately we do not have the resources to make serious street medic trainings before the event so we are relying on activists already skilled.

WE ARE

a group of political activists who have chosen to act as street medics during the COP15 summit in December. This will be our primary form of political activism during this time supporting all those who come to protest during the summit.

WE WILL

• act as first aid providers during protests and actions.
• provide at least one fixed medic point during the entire summit, where people can ask questions, get advice and have basic first aid.
• treat any and all injured to the best of our abilities.
• cooperate with other activist support groups such as soup kitchens, emotional first aid/activist trauma support and legal teams.
• have one introductory meeting for all medics before the summit and have coordinating meetings at least a couple of times during the summit.

WE WILL TRY

• to provide all medics with supplies of basic kit as well as infrastructure such as hot food, legal support and sleeping spaces specifically for medics.
• to setup a basic first aid training for activists coming to the summit as non-medics.
• to keep the fixed medics point open for as many hours a day as feasible.
• to provide a forum for debriefing after actions.

WE WILL NOT

• provide the press or the authorities with any type of information on injured or injuries.
• be able to provide advanced street medic trainings before the summit.
• carry medicine or drugs of any kind on the street

WE NEED

• trained medics who want to act as such during the COP.
• funds for buying supplies.
• as many up to date supplies as you can bring.
• warm blankets and clothes for donating to activists.
